About this piece
Our love of copper and leather sent us searching for a flask that would age as beautifully as our leather. As soon as we felt the weight of this flask, we knew we had found what we were looking for. Paired with an American tanned 3-4 oz. leather from The Horween Tannery, we created a one-of-a-kind leather-wrapped flask that embodies the classic character. The flask is made of food-grade 18/8 stainless steel coated with copper and holds 6 ounces of your favorite libation. The MKC Bison Skull Flask is a perfect fit around the campfire or tucked into a back pocket for an adventure in town. EACH LEATHER WRAP IS HANDCRAFTED IN THE USA
About the artist
Josh learned to make knives at age 11 from his little league baseball coach in Lincoln, Montana. By 19, he was the youngest Master Bladesmith in the world. He launched MKC from a two-car garage in December 2020 with the iconic Speedgoat. Within a year, the company had 37 employees. In 2024, they broke ground on a 50,000 sq ft facility in Missoula.
