The Echoed U Earring is inspired by the unique beauty of the formline art style that is distinct to the Pacific Northwest Coast Nations. This design showcases the Split U shape—a formline element that doesn’t depict any specific figure but pays homage to the artform itself. In traditional formline compositions, curving lines, like the U-shapes and S-shapes, define both the positive and negative spaces, creating a harmonious balance within each piece.
