About this piece
This candlestick form was wheel thrown out of stoneware clay. It is decorated with a hand-carved and inlaid design of herringbone pattern in cobalt blue, and is glazed in a clear celadon glaze. It holds most standard sized taper candles. Dimensions: 3.5" W x 4" H opening: 1" w ************************************************************************** My designs are inspired by the wild plants and trees that I encounter in my adventures, as well as by memories of the plants of my childhood in the Pacific Northwest. Each piece is hand-carved from scratch, so even with the same design, each piece is one-of-a-kind. This piece was hand thrown on the wheel with stoneware clay.
