Two years ago my husband, friends, and I made the hike and camped at the springs overnight. This adventure was one I will never forget. The landscape was speckled with wildflowers as far as the eye could see and we encountered several moose, marmot, and deer. The area captured in the painting was encountered just before reaching the hot springs.
