About this piece
The Spacelink is a steerer tube spacer that provides the first-ever integrated bikepacking cockpit. This integration allows your top tube bag to be anchored either above or below your stem to create a more stable connection to the bike. It also provides a stable, direct mount for feedbags on either side of the spacer to eliminate the need to try and wrap velcro around a short stem.
About the artist
Greg Hardy is a medical research engineer with a PhD who started Rockgeist in Asheville in 2014 because he loved riding bikes and camping and wanted to work with his hands. The name is German for spirit of the rock — Greg learned to sew while living in Germany. Their PhotoFit process put them on the bikepacking map: customers send in a strategic photo of their bike's front triangle and Rockgeist builds the frame bag from that, no in-person fitting required.
