About this piece
Ultra-durable and 100% waterproof with a special oval shaped bottom. These use a much thicker material than the silnylon stuff sacks most people are used to. Pair it with a 3-bolt mount like the Many Things Cage or strap it to your handlebars with the Handlebar Harness . Bikes with minimal handlebar-to-tire clearance will need the 5L versions. Only the opaque/see-through ones have a PurgeAir™ valve.
About the artist
Kyle Ng founded Outer Shell in San Francisco in 2015 with a focus on durable, repairable bags built from recycled sailcloth fabrics partnered with Challenge Sailcloth. He competed under a solo label for a few years before Jim joined in late 2018 from his own brand Fog City Bags. Every product is still handcrafted in their San Francisco shop, with a flagship inside Box Dog Bikes that carries the full line.
