About this piece

Originally designed to secure a pair of skis, Voilé straps are a rugged, simple, and incredibly versatile way to attach or secure all sorts of items. Our custom-printed straps are made from a super tough UV-resistant polyurethane and built to last! The 15” strap is the same one we use on our Mini Saddlebag and is perfect for lashing down smaller items like a tube or pump to your frame. These are 3/4” wide and feature a non-marring nylon buckle. The 22” and 32” lengths are great for securing larger items like a sleeping bag, tent, or stuff sack. These are 1” wide, 20% thicker and have a heavy-duty aluminum buckle.

About the artist

Kyle Ng founded Outer Shell in San Francisco in 2015 with a focus on durable, repairable bags built from recycled sailcloth fabrics partnered with Challenge Sailcloth. He competed under a solo label for a few years before Jim joined in late 2018 from his own brand Fog City Bags. Every product is still handcrafted in their San Francisco shop, with a flagship inside Box Dog Bikes that carries the full line.
