About this piece

Nylon spacer blocks designed by us! These give you 1.5” of space between your bar and bag, which is good clearance for mountain bike cables or the top hand position on drop bars. We find these hard plastic spacers are great for handlebars because they’re very stable and fairly slim, but the foam ones are still better against your head tube since they’re soft (less marring) and squishy (shock absorbing). Our spacer blocks fit any diameter handlebar and are made for 1” wide straps - which you can just push through the center of the block. Injection molded (not 3d printed), so they’re very strong! About the artist

Kyle Ng founded Outer Shell in San Francisco in 2015 with a focus on durable, repairable bags built from recycled sailcloth fabrics partnered with Challenge Sailcloth. He competed under a solo label for a few years before Jim joined in late 2018 from his own brand Fog City Bags. Every product is still handcrafted in their San Francisco shop, with a flagship inside Box Dog Bikes that carries the full line.
