This is a link to purchase a full service cord repair. We provide you with postage to ship an existing pair of Ombraz to our repair team. We do not sell our cord separately from a pair of Ombraz! We've partnered with our friends at Rugged Thread Outerwear Repair in Bend, Oregon for a super simple cord replacement process. Their expert repair team will swap out your V1 polyester cord and hand-tied beads for our premium Japanese nylon cord with our new, over-molded adjustment system. Whether you need to upgrade the components on your V1 Classics , or if your dog got ahold of your favorite sunglasses, we've got you covered. We will email you all the information/instructions you need to send in your Ombraz once you've checked out. Viva La Ombraz!

About the artist

In 2012 Jensen Brehm was on a five-day camel safari in India's Thar Desert when someone sat on his sunglasses. He remembered a NOLS trick — wrap a cord around the broken hinges and tie it behind your head — and was floored by how well it worked. Six years and a college friendship later, Jensen and Nikolai Paloni launched Ombraz on Indiegogo in spring 2018, raising $165K from 1,400 backers in 30 days. Today the company runs out of Bellevue, WA, and ships armless polarized sunglasses to alpinists, anglers, and bikepackers who got tired of replacing snapped temples.
