About the artist

Lars Gesing is a contemporary fine-art nature photographer based in West Seattle, where he runs a brick-and-mortar gallery on 42nd Ave SW (voted Best Art Gallery by The Seattle Times). His work has shown internationally from Los Angeles to Vienna, and he describes his practice as making "art for calm spaces in a chaotic world" — landscapes printed at scale so a wall feels like a window.
