About this piece
Despite its small size, this charming print depicts a shrimp and her eggs. This art is a tribute to one of artist Crystal Worl’s favorite foods and her memories of shrimping with her uncle. Stone lithograph with one color of deep and beautiful color red. Red symbolizes wealth, richness, and opportunity. Each print is embossed along the bottom with la chicharra, or the cicada, and the embossed watermark of the high-quality paper used, Fabriano. While la chicharra is at the bottom center, the Fabriano watermark varies across the bottom of the print. This is a very limited run with only 30 prints created.
