When I mentioned my interest in painting Charreada, or Mexican Rodeo, they informed me that the National Championship was coming up in MO, in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico. As soon as I returned home to Taos, I began planning my trip to Juarez. I got some great shots of the action as well as portraits of the participants, spectators and Charro Kids.
