About this piece
Fleeing Giraffe The tallest mammal in the world. Incredibly peaceful. What if you were being hunted because of the beauty of your skin? This is exactly what is happening to a handful of giraffe subspecies. Fragmentation, habitat loss, and illegal poaching critically threaten three species of the giraffe, Kordofan, Nubian, and Reticulated giraffe. Spots on their hides and tails believed to be medicinal - they are not - threaten their existence. Sizes Please do not order mats or frames until after the prints arrive - slight variations may occur. 8.5” x 11" | Giclée on Cotton Paper - includes a 1/8 inch white border. 16.5” x 21.5" | Giclée on Cotton Paper - includes a 1/2 inch white border. Generating awareness around threatened species and wildlands through affordable and functional art.
