About the artist

Dan English spent years in the outdoor industry watching brands ship production overseas and lose control of quality. In 2013 he moved to Pagosa Springs and started building a textile mill from scratch. Voormi's patented Core Construction — which weaves technical fibers directly into merino wool — was developed in-house because no existing mill could do it. The result is fabric that's warm like wool, abrasion-resistant like a softshell, and made entirely in Colorado.
