About this piece
Field-tested by mountain kids, the Ice House Jacket is designed for active winter wear, providing all-over warmth on even the coldest days. Extra durable, kid-proof shell fabric resists snags and tears while our Signature Diamond Quilting distributes heat efficiently, to keep your little one happy and warm from frigid mornings waiting at the bus stop through to slushy afternoon snowball fights.
About the artist
Bill Gamber named the company after a peak near Steamboat Springs where he spent countless nights camping. In 2001 he had a simple insight: sleeping bags and pads always separate in the night, so why not build a sleeve that holds them together? That one idea launched a company. Big Agnes now designs everything from sub-2-pound ultralight tents to car camping palaces, all from their Steamboat headquarters at 6,700 feet.
