About this piece
The closer you look, the colder it gets. Best enjoyed chilled with a side of pow, this Lightweight OTC will have you ripping down the mountain like magic…or better yet, in Merino. The fading mesh colors you see in the leg, though? Now that knit is magic.
About the artist
Ric Cabot's family has been making socks in the same Northfield mill since 1978. When cheap imports nearly killed the business, Ric pivoted to premium merino wool and slapped an unconditional lifetime guarantee on every pair. The bet worked. Darn Tough now knits over 30,000 pairs a day, employs 300+ Vermonters, and has an estimated return rate under 3%. The guarantee isn't a gimmick — it's a quality control mechanism that forces them to build socks that simply don't wear out.
