Founded by
Eric Parsons
Eric Parsons started Revelate Designs in 2007 in Anchorage after years of trying to bolt camping gear onto bicycles for self-supported races like the Iditarod Trail Invitational. He couldn't find bags that fit a fat-bike frame or a snow trip, so he started sewing his own. The Sweetroll handlebar harness, Viscacha seat pack, and Tangle frame bag became the templates the rest of the industry copied. Two decades later Revelate is still based in Anchorage, still designed by riders who race the Iditarod themselves.
