All are built from dense, substantial, cotton web. The hardware is solid brass. The materials are premium quality-- reliable and built to last. The one inch model works well with our smaller items like the BWCA insulator and the Windigo. The inch and a half are used with the briefcases. The two inch model is used on the luggage.
