Why choose fluorocarbon tippet? It is more abrasion resistant than nylon, is stiffer for better presentation and hook setting, and is close to invisible under water meaning you can use higher test poundage than normal. Fluorocarbon is good for salt and freshwater targets, especially when everything matters most.
