Chocolate drinks have long played an important role in the lives of the ancient Mexican people. Hand carved Molinillos are still used to froth the milk and liquid chocolate. The froth has even been referred to as the "spirit of the drink". These Molinillos are all hand carved in Mexico from solid wood and artisans use an age-old burn technique to create the pattern.
