This batter bowl was hand thrown on the potter's wheel out of stoneware clay, and has a spout pulled in the rim for easy pouring of sauces and batters. Decorated with a hand-painted design of flowing abstract vines in cobalt blue, it is glazed in a food-safe celadon glaze.
