4X4 ft acrylic painting on stretched canvas The 18 mile hike to the conundrum hot springs in the Snowmass, Colorado wilderness is a mesmerizing adventure not for the faint of heart. Two years ago my husband, friends and I made the hike and camped at the springs overnight. This adventure was one I will never forget. The landscape was speckled with wildflowers as far as the eye could see and we encountered several moose, marmot and deer. The area captured in the painting was encountered just before reaching the hot springs. The sun was setting after hiking for the whole day and pools of water...
