Every year there is a Hummingbird Roundup where I live. It is amazing to witness dozens (more, really) of hummingbirds descend on a grove of apple blossoms. Birds are banded and studied for their migratory patterns. (They also get a good lunch before heading off to their next destination.) In this painting, I wanted to make this little bird larger than life. This original painting will add that special spark to any room and is sure to garner comments from guests.
