Aged Sumatra

A unique coffee, these Indonesian Mandheling beans are aged in their skin (pergamino) in the cool air of the farm for 3 years before being hulled and exported! This aging process results in very rustic flavors and aromas; it is reminiscent of sweet wood, leather, and pipe tobacco. We have roasted this coffee to a medium+ level to complemnt inherent flavors and the heavy body. Aged 3 years Heavy body with leather, tobacco and smoked notes No pronounced acidity.
