This is a fine art print of the painting Where the Day Began by Joanne Hastie Where the Day Began is a sunrise forest scene from Mount Seymour’s “Greenland” trail in North Vancouver. A glowing magenta sky filters through tall evergreens, casting warm morning light on the vivid yellow lichen below. Inspired by early mountain bike rides, this painting captures the quiet anticipation of a new day—before the trail gets busy and the forest fully wakes up. The original painting has sold.
