Deviate from the Route (SS)

As I explored Mount Seymour for views to paint this spring, I often went off the trails to get a better angle of the sun coming through the trees. Sometimes I am surrounded by branches and brush just like in this painting. You can quickly tell I am off the trail. Here I tried to capture the gorgeous morning sun and shadows through the various gnarly branches.    Details about this painting This painting is acrylic paint on canvas.
