This seam-to-seam graphic was taken directly from one of Tom Blake’s photographs circa 1931 in Waikiki with the iconic Diamond Head in the background. The benefits of Tom’s hollow construction reduced the weight of the boards of the time, so women and children could now surf together, and this image captures the time perfectly.
