The Story
This is a three-day kit, not a summit kit. The pack does the work. The tent is overkill for fair weather and exactly right for the weather you'll actually get. The quilt plus a good pad gets you down to 30°F without the weight penalty of a winter bag.
Nothing here is the lightest possible version of itself. Everything is the version we'd take twice.
