You have asked for a long time and here it is, a Lake Superior Tote in Heritage Black and with a longer handle, perfect for carrying over the shoulder. The Lake Superior is part tote and part briefcase. A briefcase type organization panel offers larger and smaller pockets as well as a card holder. Pockets on the outside of the bag could work for a water bottle, keys or a collapsible umbrella. Rolled leather handles, a leather bottom, and compartments all add up to a tote of distinction.
About the artist
Christin Fargo started Frost River in Duluth in 2002 with a single sewing machine and a belief that gear should outlive the person carrying it. The company now employs 40 craftspeople in a century-old building overlooking Lake Superior. Every bag uses Martexin Original Wax canvas — milled in New Jersey since 1838 — and SB Foot Tannery leather from Red Wing, Minnesota. The lifetime guarantee isn't marketing; it's how they were raised.
