Each of these cases are handcrafted in our shop located in Duluth, Minnesota. The Field Tan version features 18oz waxed canvas, while the Hunter Orange version is built with double-layered 10oz waxed canvas. Both styles come equipped with heavy-duty YKK zippers and solid brass D-rings, perfect for securing with a small lock.
About the artist
Christin Fargo started Frost River in Duluth in 2002 with a single sewing machine and a belief that gear should outlive the person carrying it. The company now employs 40 craftspeople in a century-old building overlooking Lake Superior. Every bag uses Martexin Original Wax canvas — milled in New Jersey since 1838 — and SB Foot Tannery leather from Red Wing, Minnesota. The lifetime guarantee isn't marketing; it's how they were raised.
