The waxed canvas Choppers offer water resistance and are built from 10.10 oz. field tan canvas. The liners (available separately) are made in the USA by Fox River. About the artist

Christin Fargo started Frost River in Duluth in 2002 with a single sewing machine and a belief that gear should outlive the person carrying it. The company now employs 40 craftspeople in a century-old building overlooking Lake Superior. Every bag uses Martexin Original Wax canvas — milled in New Jersey since 1838 — and SB Foot Tannery leather from Red Wing, Minnesota. The lifetime guarantee isn't marketing; it's how they were raised.
