If you want to utilize a pack on the front while wearing a pack on the back-- we can help. Our installation kit includes a pair of adjustable web straps with brass snap hooks sewn in. We include rivets and burs, leather straps and brass d-rings to be used on existing backstraps.
About the artist
Christin Fargo started Frost River in Duluth in 2002 with a single sewing machine and a belief that gear should outlive the person carrying it. The company now employs 40 craftspeople in a century-old building overlooking Lake Superior. Every bag uses Martexin Original Wax canvas — milled in New Jersey since 1838 — and SB Foot Tannery leather from Red Wing, Minnesota. The lifetime guarantee isn't marketing; it's how they were raised.
