About this piece
One of our secrets is that it all starts with solid brass hardware. However, requests have come in for ways to upgrade our reliable straps. We offer a Bridle Leather pad for those who use their shoulder strap frequently. All the Accessories will slide over our hardware, no need to send your strap in, you can take care of the upgrade yourself. We offer a Heritage Black Bridle Leather pads to pair with our Heritage Black shoulder bags. All shoulder pads are 9 inches in length.
About the artist
Christin Fargo started Frost River in Duluth in 2002 with a single sewing machine and a belief that gear should outlive the person carrying it. The company now employs 40 craftspeople in a century-old building overlooking Lake Superior. Every bag uses Martexin Original Wax canvas — milled in New Jersey since 1838 — and SB Foot Tannery leather from Red Wing, Minnesota. The lifetime guarantee isn't marketing; it's how they were raised.
