About this piece

Our hooded sweatshirts are Made in U.S.A. of an 80/20 cotton/polyester blend, that much cotton makes it soft, the polyester adds durability and functional value outdoors. Navy, Brown, and Gray are classic, bold colors that work outside or indoors and will look good on men or women. The Frost River logo with our caribou mascot is skillfully embroidered in three colors on the chest.

About the artist

Christin Fargo started Frost River in Duluth in 2002 with a single sewing machine and a belief that gear should outlive the person carrying it. The company now employs 40 craftspeople in a century-old building overlooking Lake Superior. Every bag uses Martexin Original Wax canvas — milled in New Jersey since 1838 — and SB Foot Tannery leather from Red Wing, Minnesota. The lifetime guarantee isn't marketing; it's how they were raised.
