About this piece
This seat bag is designed to fit most railed seats, with leather straps that wrap securely around the seat and an additional strap around the seat post for extra stability. The top flap covers the bag completely, with rain flaps for added protection against the elements. Need a size reference? It comfortably holds a 4-pack of 12oz cans. Oh! And it also has a slip pocket on the inside and a plastic plate in the back to help keep its shape.
About the artist
Christin Fargo started Frost River in Duluth in 2002 with a single sewing machine and a belief that gear should outlive the person carrying it. The company now employs 40 craftspeople in a century-old building overlooking Lake Superior. Every bag uses Martexin Original Wax canvas — milled in New Jersey since 1838 — and SB Foot Tannery leather from Red Wing, Minnesota. The lifetime guarantee isn't marketing; it's how they were raised.
