Like all of our goods, this is made from the real stuff: Full-grain premium oil-tanned HH Vintage Boomer leather from S.B. Foot Tannery in Red Wing is sewn with our 18oz waxed canvas to make a product that will last. Like a good pair of boots, this wallet requires a break-in period and will get better with age. Users of our wallet have found that it forms a crisp fold with use, and develops a beautiful patina that's only possible with real quality leather.

About the artist

Christin Fargo started Frost River in Duluth in 2002 with a single sewing machine and a belief that gear should outlive the person carrying it. The company now employs 40 craftspeople in a century-old building overlooking Lake Superior. Every bag uses Martexin Original Wax canvas — milled in New Jersey since 1838 — and SB Foot Tannery leather from Red Wing, Minnesota. The lifetime guarantee isn't marketing; it's how they were raised.
