About this piece

These 70s aviator sunglasses were all the rage - worn by film legends and rockstars from Steve McQueen to Jimi Hendrix before entirely disappearing. We brought them back to their former glory. Designed for day and night-time rides, Moto Aviators come in two lens types: G-15 : Green-tinted polarized lenses, renowned for their exceptional color contrast and glare reduction from the road. Equally suited to everyday wear. NR-76: Yellow NightRider lenses brighten up your vision and feature a purple AR coating to eliminate reflections when riding a motorcycle at night.

About the artist

Brothers Marcus and Richard Franck founded Vallon in 2018 in Verbier, Switzerland, after years of skiing, touring, and hiking the Val de Bagnes. The name is French for 'small valley' — a reference to the Vallon d'Arbi above Verbier where the idea took shape. Before launching the brand, the two ran the Old Schoolers Instagram account dedicated to the history of skiing; that obsession with vintage alpine eyewear shows up in every Vallon model — classic shapes resurrected with modern V52 lens technology and contemporary frame materials.
